What happens when you stop getting eyelash extensions?

In two weeks, we lose about 20% of our eyelashes. The loss of eyelashes and their growth cycle lasts between 60 and 90 days. If your eyelashes fall out naturally, they will grow back over time and with a little help from eyelash serums, even faster. If you notice that your eyelashes look dry, brittle and unhealthy or if you lose your eyelashes, you should always take a break from the extensions or stop using them completely.

There's one thing that everyone who has had eyelash extensions knows: they require a lot of maintenance and that comes with high costs. One of my clients came to the salon a couple of days before she booked the removal of eyelash extensions, worried that she wasn't doing the right thing by taking them off and wanted a second opinion. This is more of a complaint than a question, but damn it, I've always felt really good about eyelash extensions because I have very short (Asian) eyelashes and hooded eyelids. You should also know that I am a challenge with false eyelashes when I put them on and I have often found them in the past, even when I removed them very carefully, they also remove some of my own eyelashes, so false eyelashes are not an option for me.

Avoid products that contain any type of oil, as this can destroy the links between natural eyelashes and extensions. It can also be difficult to find an eyelash technician who is close to home and who can do your eyelashes the way you want them to be. If the “eyelash technician” doesn't apply your eyelashes correctly like a trained technician would, you run a high risk of growing eyelashes and that's very painful, and it's certainly not worth the risk. I lost a lot of body hair (pro, no need to shave, but no eyelashes either) so I started using Latisse and it really made them grow back and are as long as the extensions.

For some people, eyelash extensions can really overload their face and make their eyes look droopy. I'm Asian, so I definitely used to have a thinner volume of eyelashes and the Latisse made them fuller and longer. Read below to learn more reasons why many women ditched extensions and opted for false eyelashes. All of the above ingredients can be purchased at Holland and Barrett and whatever you don't use to make your eyelash serum you can use on the rest of your body, on your face, and coconut oil can be used for cooking.

There are a lot of eyelash growth serums on the market and they can be purchased online or in stores such as Boots and in some department stores. Once they've been removed, most people feel that their real eyelashes are damaged, dry and brittle, which can cause you to compare yourself before and after eyelash extensions.
